"Mink! While you're out can you please pick up some eggs and some more green tea!" "Yeah I will Gran!" I call back, Sunshine dashing around my legs causing his leash to get wrapped around my legs almost making me trip. I sigh as I unwind the leash, Sunshine sits down, his tail going crazy and his tongue sticking out. "Oh, we need more dog food also!" "Ok, I'm going now Gran!" I yell back, turning to open the door, "Oh wait, here's a twenty." I turn around and grab the twenty from my Grandmother's hand. After giving a kiss to her forehead I open the door and step out.

While walking through the park there  are many things you expect to see. From couples going on dates to elderly people feeding the birds, one thing I never thought I'll see however is a guy sitting on top of the basketball hoop looking bored out his mind. As I stare I can't help but think about how big an idiot, I mean how is he supposed to get down without getting hurt? Sighing I continued to walk away, Sunshine following besided me happy as can be, giving him a pat on the head I check the time before walking towards the store. Unaware of the eyes watching me go.

"Alright, be a good boy and stay right here, okay?" Sunshine just wags his tail and shuffles around where he is sitting. Withe on last look I enter the store and grabbed a small basket. Roaming around as fast as I can without bumping shoulders with the other store patrons, I quickly find myself among the tea and quickly grab the brand my Grandmother normal uses and walk towards the eggs. On my way to the eggs I pass the small clothes section and out of the corner of my eye something white and yellow catches my eye, giving what caught my eye full attention I see the accuracy stand filled with scarfs and bandanas and there it is; a white bandana with little yellow suns. I grab it and continue on getting eggs.

Walking out of the store I freeze a bit to what I see, Sunshine is where I left him but that's not what I freeze at, it the boy sitting with him. Dark blue hair cut short and tan skin is the first thing I noticed when I saw him, the second thing I noticed is the two popsicles he has, on in his mouth the other he is letting Sunshine eat. As I stand there I try to put a name to his face knowing that I've seen him before, "Ack! How long have you been there!" He jumps as he notices me, Sunshine looks up and gives a happy bark at my arrival. "Not long, thank you for keeping my dog company." He blushes a bit at that and runs the back of his neck, "It's no problem, he's a sweetheart." I nod and bend down to untie his leash and pull out the bandana and tied it around his neck.

"Umm, I-umm, my names Orion and I've seen you around at school." I look at him and nod, standing straight, "I'm Mink." With one last nod I start my walk back home, "Mink? Mink.... wait a second- MILK!?" snap, "What did you say?" I'm going to kill him, "Damn if Richard told me his 'new bestfriend' was a cutie I would have paid more attention~" it's not a crime if there are no witnesses, right? "Ha! If Dick knew that I bumped into you on accident, when he can't even find you on purpose he would flip~" but where could I put the body? "In all seriousness it was nice meeting you~ And your dig is super sweet, what's his name?" "Sunshine." I start to speed up with that.

"You remember when you where ranting about how you been replaced, welp it turns out you where right~" Richard blinks at that, doing his signature head tilt, "What do you mean?" "Guess you ran into your new bestfriend and her dog Sunshine~" "....SHE HAS REPLACED ME WITH A DOG!? WHY DOES GOD HAVE TO BE SO CRUEL!" "Richard, Orion. What have I told you two about yelling?" "YEEP!"

“Please. Tell me what your last wishes are and I will follow them to the letter.”

“W-wait - you’re not seri-YEEP!” one corolla darted forward, dangerously close, it’s maw open wide and dripping that corrosive sap, all the while emitting a rather alluring aroma that appeared to make the bound man second guess himself and lean that much closer towards the carnivorous plant, as though mesmerized by it, compelled by it.

“I can assure you - we take our work quite seriously...do you have any words of parting you wish to impart before you begin your next journey, sir?” an index finger toyed idly with her hair as the vines that bound him began to sway the captive to and fro, starting him from the reverie induced by the pheromones the gargantuan Venus Flytrap produced and making him begin to scream incoherently...for a moment anyway.

A broad leaf covered in viscous nectar covered his mouth, muting him, hand freeing itself from her hair to lick away a drop of the substance, “Oh do be quiet - it’s rude to disturb the dead and living alike, and both are sleeping presently...just be glad I chose something sweet over my preferred type.” as if to punctuate the statement, another thick drop of corrosive secretion hit the ground from the maw of the giant flora under her swap, another plume of acrid smoke issuing from the soil.

“Though I suppose like this he won’t be able to speak his final wishes...what a pity.”
